As a HUD approved counseling agency, we would like to offer our assistance to everyone in need of foreclosure prevention counseling. Unfortunately, we cannot do that. If you have one of the following circumstances, our agency will not be able to offer assistance:
» You are presently in an active bankruptcy.
» The property you need help with is not your principal residence.
» You no longer live in the property you need help with, even if it used to be your principal residence.
» You are currently working with another non-profit or for-profit agency.
» The loan is not in your name.
» The home has already been lost to foreclosure.
» Your mortgage payment, including taxes and insurance, is less than 31% of your gross income.
» You live outside Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, or Stanislaus counties.
